Family
My wife is Katherine “Kit” Robinson (yes, different last names) who works as an executive assistant. Kit has a son, Andrew, who is single and lives in Norcross, GA. I have a daughter, Lisa Rothman, who lives with her husband and daughter in Brentwood, TN.
Hometown
Born in West Virginia and raised in a large family – five boys and one girl – I graduated from high school in Clarksburg, WV, which was the birthplace of Stonewall Jackson and is located a short distance down a winding state highway from Fairmont, WV, the birthplace of Nick Saban. Important West Virginia memories include earning the rank of Eagle Scout and being selected to represent West Virginia at the American Legion’s Boys Nation in Washington, DC.
Free-time Interests
Running, reading, cooking, boating, shooting sports, going to the movies, landscape design, traveling and experiencing great restaurants with Kit, bridge, poker, photography, bird watching, and attending plays at neighborhood theatres.
Alabama Connection
Kit and I learned about life on the Eastern Shore from her parents, Roger and Fran Galloway, who retired to Fairhope from Milwaukee in the early 80s.
